About Rosewood
Rosewood Private Equity has three business processes. Firstly the creation of a new business, then the establishment of a new business and finally the situating of a new business so as to solve an economic problem in a distressed market. Rosewood Startups are predicated upon a rigorous research process that involves a critical investigation of an economic problem, within a market, from the perspective of creating a new business that will solve this problem, purely by providing the solution to the market at feasible and sustainable profit margins.
Why...?
I have spent my entire life having the world depend on me for essential solutions to natural and man-made problems. I was made, many years before I was born, on the basis that "Avishkar is Invention" and I have lived my many lives thus far on that basis. It occurred to me, recently, while I read for a degree in business management, marketing management and supply chain management; that my experience in solving problems could be focused on the flip side of the equation. That is, rather than just overthrowing undemocratic tyranny, and allowing the vacuum to be stolen by more undemocratic tyranny; that the object lesson would be to create an association that would render undemocratic tyranny completely irrelevant and utterly undesirable. And if this association could be a business, that created sustainable employment, then all the better for it.
