Ideation

Rosewood prides itself on creating problem solving and market shaping businesses from nothing. To be clear Rosewood Startups are uniquely positioned to solve critical problems in distressed markets.

Establishment

Once the business planning and modularisation of the Startup is completed, Rosewood engages in 3 rounds of fundraising for each Startup business. Once completed the new business is opened for trade.

Divestment

As soon as Rosewood has recouped its investment, the new business is divested from Rosewood and continues to operate and trade as an independent business in the market in which it was created.

Rosewood engages in a deep research process when considering any market in distress. The actual economic problems in that market are identified and quantified in an effort to create a ecosystem which resonates with the market processes. After this Rosewood creates a framework for a new business that will operate in that market and that will solve those problems purely by trading at feasible and sustainable profit margins. Finally the business and marketing planning for that new business is developed from ideation to establishment and the new business is listed as a Rosewood Startup.

Each Rosewood Startup is a designed to be a modular system, with each component being able to work independently and being designed to synchronise effectively.

The premise of all Rosewood Startups is teamwork, such that all human and technical resources involved are intended to work together without any one unit being carried by another.

Certainty

No Rosewood Startup is listed for establishment before the business model and business process is tested in the real world, with actual trade proving the viability of the models.

This program goes beyond simply preparing you to lead a Rosewood Startup, and requires you to be able to lead the entire ecosystem in which that Rosewood Startup exists. If you are selected to participate in the Rosewood CEO Internship program, and if you succeed in the program, then you will be invited to serve as the initial CEO of that Rosewood Startup. This program is intended to establish the basis upon which the Rosewood Startups are established by ensuring that the logic which directs the Rosewood Startup is consistent with the logic which initiated the New Business is the Only Solution process.
